Maintenance Fitter
Day Shift (Mon–Fri, 6am - 2pm)

$52phr (negotiable) + OT + Super

My client, a growing liquid filling manufacturer, is expanding their brand new, state-of-the-art production site and is looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a clean, modern facility with new machinery, strong support from leadership, and genuine long-term growth and progression opportunities.
We’re seeking people with a solid background in FMCG, packaging, liquid processing, or high-speed manufacturing who enjoy being hands-on, solving problems, and keeping production running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preventive and breakdown maintenance on new, modern filling and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Support production teams with line changeovers and machine setup
• Assist with commissioning, upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Maintain accurate records using CMMS
• Ensure compliance with WHS, GMP and site safety standards
• Work closely with operators, technicians and the wider engineering team

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III Mechanical Fitting or equivalent)
• Experience in FMCG, liquid filling, food, beverage, pharma, packaging or similar
• Strong fault-finding and mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Skilled with welding & fabrication.
• Solid knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical drive systems
• Exposure to packaging lines, fillers, cappers, conveyors, mixers or batching equipment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team
• A proactive, safety-focused mindset
