About Us
JAS TRAWL Pty Ltd are a small family owned and run business, we pride ourselves on the well-being of our staff and workplace. We work in the fishing industry mainly fishing for prawns. We are looking for someone who has experience in the fast-paced work environment to join our team.
Qualifications & Experience
First Aid Certificate
Shipboard Safety
Do not get sea sick
Drug and Alcohol free
Must have a minimum of 2 years sea time experience
Must be okay spending months at sea
Tasks & Responsibilities
Performing general on-board maintenance
Catching, sorting and processing product
Cooking
Cleaning
Performing general maintenance whilst in port
Must be willing to undertake and pass routine drug and alcohol testing
Net mending skills are highly desirable
Refueling Fishing vessel
Unloading product onto the mothership and also while in port
