About the role

Premium IT is looking for an enthusiastic Junior IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Bibra Lake WA 6163. This full-time entry-level position is ideal for a recent school leaver, TAFE graduate, university student, or someone looking to start a career in Information Technology.

No previous IT industry experience is required. We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. You will receive hands-on training and mentoring while working alongside experienced technicians supporting a wide range of business clients.

A current driver's licence is required as the role will involve onsite visits to client locations.

What you'll be doing

Provide friendly and professional first-level IT support via phone, email, remote support and in person

Assist with setting up computers, laptops, mobile devices and other equipment

Learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot common hardware, software and network issues

Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word and OneDrive

Assist senior technicians with onsite installations, upgrades and maintenance activities

Create and maintain accurate service tickets and documentation

Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service

Continually develop your technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience

What we're looking for

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Reliable, punctual and professional presentation

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills

Completion of, or currently studying, an IT-related qualification (TAFE, university or similar) is desirable but not essential

Experience building computers, helping friends and family with technology, gaming, home networking, or personal technology projects will be highly regarded

Australian citizenship is required for this position

Current driver's licence required
