The Position
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Physical Education (PE) and Sport & Health Teacher to deliver high quality classes to our students.
This is a full-time, fixed term position, commencing in Term 1, 2027 until December 2027.
Duties and Responsibilities
Enthusiasm in teaching Physical Education & Health.
Interpersonal and organisational skills.
A detailed knowledge and understanding of the curriculum for PE, Sport & Health.
A professional team approach to teaching.
Commitment to Before School Sport Academy.
Understanding how assessment and evaluation promotes learning.
Ability to adapt to creative learning environments where individuals feel secure and valued while being challenged to define and pursue their own interests.
Identifying, reflecting and implementing good practice in teaching.
Communicating openly and effectively with peers, students and parents.
Role Requirements
Experience in teaching Physical Education & Health.
Competency with digital technologies.
VIT registration is essential.
An understanding of the national curriculum and different teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication skills.
