Responsibilities:

Ensure all construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, contract specifications, authority requirements, and relevant Singapore codes and standards.

Monitor project progress, construction quality, workmanship, safety, and environmental compliance.

Review and endorse method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and construction methodologies.

Coordinate with Clients, Qualified Persons (QP), contractors, consultants, and utility agencies to resolve technical and construction issues.

Supervise critical construction activities, including deep excavation, ERSS, piling, viaduct construction, bridge works, tunnel works, and reinforced concrete works.

Review inspection records, test results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.

Monitor project schedules, identify construction risks, and recommend mitigation measures.

Chair and attend technical, progress, and coordination meetings, and prepare or review project reports.

Ensure proper site documentation, quality records, and statutory records are maintained.

Support testing, commissioning, defect management, project completion, and final handover.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to REs and RTOs to ensure effective site supervision and compliance with LTA requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification recognized in Singapore.

Registered as a Resident Engineer (RE) with the relevant authority in Singapore.

Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant site supervision experience in building, civil engineering, infrastructure, or utility projects.

Proven experience in supervising projects under government agencies such as LTA, HDB, PUB, SP PowerGrid (SPPG), JTC, or equivalent.

Strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, piling, deep excavation, Earth Retaining and Stabilizing Structures (ERSS), roads, bridges, viaducts, tunnels, drainage, sewerage, water supply, and utility works.

Thorough knowledge of BCA regulations, Singapore Standards, and MOM Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.

Strong leadership, project coordination, technical, and report-writing skills.
