Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Head of Operations to be part of their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team and ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the overall manufacturing and business operations to achieve operational, financial, and strategic objectives.

Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and profitability.

Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Planning teams to drive operational excellence and resolve business challenges.

Optimize production planning, resource utilization, inventory, workflow, and manufacturing capacity to improve operational performance.

Monitor operational KPIs, analyse business performance, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.

Lead Lean Manufacturing, automation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational capabilities and business competitiveness.

Manage operational budgets, manufacturing costs, and resource planning to achieve financial targets and sustainable business growth.

Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement culture.

Maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, while providing regular operational updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Perform ad-hoc initiative project as assigned when required.

Job Requirements:

Min Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

Min 8 to 10 years of experience in operation excellence within medical devices sector, including 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.

Proven experience leading manufacturing operations, operational strategy, and cross-functional teams.

Good understanding of quality management systems and regulated manufacturing environments (e.g. ISO 13485, GMP, or equivalent).

Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production planning, and operational excellence initiatives.

Good communication skills
