Senior People & Culture Business Partner

Hybrid | Western Sydney | Blue Collar Environment

Our client is a sizeable operator based in Western Sydney, employing a large blue-collar workforce. They are looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join their team on a hybrid basis, working closely with site leaders on the full range of people matters.

This is a broad generalist role for someone who enjoys being close to the operation and backing leaders with sound, practical advice.

The Role

• Coach and support leaders on people matters including performance, accountability and employee engagement
• Provide day-to-day industrial relations advice, including interpretation of the Enterprise Agreement and compliance with employment legislation
• Support leaders and IR team through Enterprise Agreement negotiations
• Manage grievances, disputes and other complex casework as it arises
• Run engagement and recognition activities that build a positive site culture
• Work alongside specialist HR functions and other departments across the business
• Contribute to broader workforce and talent planning

About You

• A background in HR or People & Culture business partnering, ideally within an industrial or blue-collar setting
• Exposure to Enterprise Agreements is essential, whether through interpretation, negotiation or both
• Confidence handling industrial relations matters, including case management and dispute resolution
• A track record of coaching and influencing leaders at different levels
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations or similar
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
