HSE Advisor – Project Based Role (Potential Ongoing Work)

Lyrebird Origins is seeking an experienced and motivated HSE Advisor to support project-based works across the mining and resources sector, with the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 1 years' experience in a HSE Advisor role within mining, construction, civil or resources environments.

Current Fortescue (FMG) Site Induction.

Current Rio Tinto Site Induction.

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or higher).

ICAM Lead Investigator qualification (or equivalent incident investigation training).

Ability to provide a minimum of 2 recent professional references from supervisors, managers or clients within the mining, construction or resources sectors.

Strong understanding of risk management, incident investigation and contractor management.

Experience conducting workplace inspections, audits, field interactions and safety reporting.

Ability to develop and review SWMS, JHAs, Take 5s and other safety documentation.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Current First Aid Certificate.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day HSE support to project teams.

Conduct workplace inspections, audits and field leadership interactions.

Facilitate risk assessments and implementation of effective controls.

Support incident investigations and corrective action management.

Monitor compliance with client, legislative and company HSE requirements.

Assist with the development and review of HSE documentation.

Promote a positive safety culture through coaching, engagement and visible leadership.
