Are you an HVAC Project Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?
We're representing a highly regarded Design & Construct Mechanical Contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering commercial HVAC projects across sectors including healthcare, education, commercial buildings, industrial and major infrastructure.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an ambitious Project Engineer with around 2-3 years' experience working for a Mechanical Contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career while working alongside experienced Project Managers on a diverse portfolio of projects.

The Opportunity
As a Project Engineer, you'll play an integral role in the successful delivery of HVAC projects from commencement through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Project Managers with the delivery of commercial HVAC projects.
• Coordinating mechanical design documentation and shop drawings.
• Preparing RFIs, technical submissions and equipment/material approvals.
• Liaising with consultants, builders, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assisting with procurement and project scheduling.
• Monitoring project progress and helping resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Supporting QA processes and ensuring compliance with the NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
• Assisting with variation pricing and project cost control.
• Attending site meetings and coordinating project documentation.
• Supporting commissioning and project handover activities.

About You

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• A Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Around 2-3 years' experience working for a Mechanical/HVAC Contractor.
• Exposure to Design & Construct commercial HVAC projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• An eagerness to learn and develop into a Project Manager.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
