Role : Flange Management Technician is responsible for ensuring the integrity of bolted flange joints on piping and pressure systems to prevent leaks, failures, and safety incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Break and make flange joints safely.
- Inspect flanges, bolts, studs, nuts, and gaskets.
- Select and install correct gaskets.
- Perform flange alignment checks.
- Use hydraulic torque and tensioning equipment.
- Apply correct bolt tightening sequences and load calculations.
- Conduct leak prevention and flange integrity checks.
- Read P&IDs, isometrics, and engineering drawings.
- Complete flange management documentation and QA/QC records.
- Follow isolation, permit-to-work, and safety procedures.
- Participate in shutdowns, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
Experience working in :
- LNG Plants
- Oil & Gas Facilities
- Refineries
- Mining Processing Plants
- Major Shutdown & Maintenance Contractors
Ticket Required :
- White Card
- Flange Management Level 2 or 1 (Hydraulic Torque/Tensioning) or similar any Flange management tickets
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Cert
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry + Gas Testing ( Preferred )
- Australian Driver's Licence
