Winslow Education is seeking an organised Buying/Marketing Assistant with strong attention to detail and a commercial mindset to support product, supplier, and marketing activities in a new business specialising in art and craft supplies for schools.

About the Role

As Buying/Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a key supporting role in an innovative startup, working closely with senior buyers and marketers. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both buying and marketing functions in a new business backed by highly experienced operators. You’ll assist in campaign preparation, catalogue/website development, product administration and supplier coordination, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Buyer and Marketing Lead across buying, planning, and admin — including coordinating photography and attending industry events

Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing initiatives with broader organisational objectives

Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns from brief to delivery

Maintain and update the CRM, ensuring accurate product information is reflected across all platforms

Contribute to copywriting for website and catalogue content, keeping the site current as new products are added

Manage the image library — collating, editing, and updating product imagery

About You

Educated to degree level in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or a related field — new graduates welcome

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and sound data management practices

Strong copywriter comfortable producing content across website, catalogue, and social platforms

Creative eye with an interest in photography, videography, or image editing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Adaptable and willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment
