The Role

We are looking for experienced Personal Care Workers to join our Community Health & Care team across Horsham, Stawell, Ararat and surrounding Grampians communities.

  • Provide person-centred personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation and social support to clients in their own homes
  • Support clients with shopping, transport to appointments and community participation where required
  • Work independently while delivering high-quality care and identifying changes in clients' wellbeing
  • Build meaningful relationships with older people and help them live safely and independently at home
  • Enjoy flexible weekday shifts with paid travel time between clients and kilometre reimbursement

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in aged care, disability support or community care, with confidence working independently
  • A current Victorian Driver Licence, reliable vehicle and Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
  • Excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach and a genuine passion for supporting older people
