About the Role

We are a well-established fencing and gate manufacturing company producing high-quality steel and aluminium products for residential and commercial clients across WA. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join our production team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a hands-on production role where quality, consistency and care for the finish are everything. You’ll be working on a wide variety of fencing panels, gates and hardware — ensuring every product leaves our facility looking sharp and built to last.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing metal surfaces for coating — cleaning and pre-treating as required

• Operating powder coating equipment, booths, and curing ovens

• Applying powder to steel and aluminium fencing components, gates and hardware

• Conducting quality checks throughout the process to ensure finish consistency and adhesion

• Colour matching, masking, and handling custom colour requests

• Following safe handling procedures for all powders and chemicals

• Keeping the work area clean, organised and compliant with WHS requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in powder coating — trade or industry background preferred

• Solid understanding of surface preparation including chemical pre-treatment

• Knowledge of oven curing processes and temperature management

• Keen eye for quality and finish — you take pride in the end product

• Ability to work efficiently in a production environment and meet daily output targets

• Strong WHS awareness and safe chemical handling practices

• Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player

• Experience with steel or aluminium fabrication products are a bonus

What’s In It For You

• Permanent full-time role with job security

• Stable, growing business with a strong reputation in the Perth market

• Day shift hours — no rotating rosters or weekend requirements as mandatory

• Supportive team culture where your work is valued

• Variety of work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects

• Modern equipment and a well-maintained production facility

• Immediate start available for the right candidate

• PPE and uniforms provided
