An opportunity is available for a Trade Qualified Boilermaker to join an established transport and manufacturing business based near Larapinta.

This is a hands-on workshop role working across structural steel, aluminium, transport equipment and general fabrication. You’ll be involved in MIG welding, fabrication, assembly and modifications, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and getting jobs completed to specification.

Duties

• MIG welding and general fabrication
• Fabricating and assembling structural steel and transport components
• Working with mild steel and aluminium
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Fabrication, repairs and modifications
• Measuring, fitting and assembling components
• Using workshop machinery and equipment
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship

Skills & Experience

• Trade Qualified Boilermaker – Engineering Fabrication
• Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
• Experience in structural steel, transport equipment or general engineering fabrication
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working with aluminium highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
