The Opportunity

This role will sit within a significant, long-term project and have a direct connection to its financial performance and delivery.

Reporting to the Project Director and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will provide the financial visibility required to keep the project on track while ensuring revenue opportunities are captured.

Key responsibilities include:

• Track project performance across revenue, cost, margin and cash flow
  
• Maintain project budgets and forecasts
  
• Liaise with project, finance and commercial stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  
• Manage project invoicing and revenue milestone administration
  
• Develop and maintain revenue forecasts
  
• Identify and manage financial risks, including profitability and revenue leakage
  
• Support accounts receivable activities
  
• Monitor expenditure and investigate variances
  
• Complete month-end accounting, reconciliations and project reporting
  
• Provide financial analysis to support project decision-making
  
• Assist with project governance and reporting requirements
  

About You

The preferred candidate will have:

• Relevant accounting or finance qualifications, including CA/CPA
  
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and cost management
  
• Experience with revenue recognition and working knowledge of IFRS 15
  
• Exposure to project accounting or commercial finance
  
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  
• The ability to turn financial information into clear, practical insights
  
• Confidence working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
