Casual Forklift Operator – AM Shift | Hemmant QLD

$37.00 per Hour + Super + Overtime | Casual Position with Full-Time Hours

SEQH is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at our Hemmant facility.

With cotton season underway and continued growth across our operations, we have consistent work, regular overtime opportunities, and long-term career prospects available for the right person.

This is a casual position offering full-time hours, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

What's On Offer?

$37.00 per hour plus superannuation

Overtime opportunities available

Casual position with full-time hours

Monday to Friday roster

6:00am starts

8–10 hour shifts

Free onsite parking

Long-term opportunity with a growing company

Potential to earn approximately $1,500–$1,600 take-home per week depending on hours worked and individual tax circumstances

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts throughout the site

Load and unload trucks and containers

Handle cotton and general freight

Conduct container inspections and checks

Complete freight paperwork and documentation

Assist with general yard duties and housekeeping

Support the Yard Supervisor and Operations Team as required

Requirements

Current LF Forklift Licence

Minimum 12 months forklift operating experience

Experience loading and unloading trucks and containers

Experience in a transport, logistics, warehouse, agricultural, or yard environment

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Strong communication skills and commitment to safety

Ability to pass a criminal history check and drug and alcohol screening

Please note: Only applicants with previous forklift operating experience will be considered.
