Estimator - Joinery & Fitout

Currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Estimators across within Joinery & Fitout for a number of opportunities in the shopfitting & fitout space across Brisbane - both North & South.

With a particular focus in the hospitality space, with projects ranging from restaurants, taverns, café's, retails and more.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for both joinery packages and full fitout
• Complete take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and value engineering
• Assist in coordination of trades for projects
• Prepare and submit tender documentation
• Assist with project handovers

About You

• Ideally from a trade background OR worked in an estimating role specifically in the joinery / fitout space.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, joinery and pricing
• Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Great attention to detail and be proactive to problem solving
• Positive team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Tech savvy!
