Our Client:
Our client is a one stop shop for HVAC / Fire Construction and Contracting and Maintenance Asset Management across 300 sites in HVAC systems in NSW. The company delivers full-scope HVAC and Fire protection services covering maintenance, testing, repairs, and compliance.
Experience using Uptick is highly preferred. Experience in fire protection, HVAC, facilities maintenance, or another field-service trade environment will be highly regarded.
The Role:
Mechanical quoting experience, including reviewing service reports and preparing quotations up to a million dollars.
Plan and coordinate testing schedules to meet AS1851 timeframe requirements across the full client portfolio
Oversee quality and compliance outcomes including Annual Condition Reports and AFSS endorsement processes
Coordinating several technicians and subcontractors for preventative maintenance and defect works
Following up open quotes, jobs and approvals
Liaising with clients, strata managers and internal teams
Understanding service reporting, defects, maintenance contracts and invoicing requirements
Experience working with Uptick or similar service management systems
Ability to work closely with the Service Manager and support day-to-day service operations
Manage scheduling, workload allocation, and service planning
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Review reports, monitor WIP, and support quoting for repairs
Debtor management across your portfolio team.
Work with a dedicated team to provide the best services possible to out clients.
You:
Must have Service Scheduling experience in HVAC and Fire and Australian AS1851 Codes knowledge and or a HVAC Tech / Fire Tech looking to get off the tools and work full time in the office. This role will be fast tracked into a Service Management Mechanical / HVAC role within a two year time frame.
Extensive high level experience in client and stakeholder management role within the HVAC & Fire Contracting and Technical Services Industry
Intermediate to advanced internal IT systems across Uptick Excel MS Office and internal CRM and or Uptick software and computer systems.
Excellent personal and professional presentation skills for client facing role.
Possesses strong commercial acumen, emotional intelligence, outstanding needs analysis skills and can operate within a team or autonomously.
Is a polished communicator with excellent negotiation, conflict management and influencing skills.
This role oversees day-to-day service operations across HVAC & Fire systems. You’ll manage a team of technicians, coordinate workloads, maintain client relationships, and ensure all service delivery meets compliance and contractual requirements. The role also includes scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and driving operational improvements.
