Data Warehouse Specialist | Brisbane | Hybrid | Contract

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Specialist to design, develop, and support enterprise data warehouse, lakehouse, and analytics platforms using modern Microsoft technologies.
Working within a collaborative technology team, you will build scalable data pipelines, develop trusted data products, and enable data-driven decision-making across a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Build data integrations from APIs, enterprise systems, and external sources.
• Develop solutions using Python, PySpark, SQL, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Deliver Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Implement data quality, governance, lineage, and monitoring frameworks.
• Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and Git.

About You

• Databricks

• 5+ years' experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics.
• Strong experience with:
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.
• Strong SQL and dimensional modelling (Kimball) expertise.
• Experience with API integrations and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog will be highly regarded.
