We are looking for experienced Sonographers including Sonographer Tutors.
About the Role
Sonographers undertake ultrasound services including general, O&G, breast, small parts, paediatric, MSK, interventional, and vascular in both hospital and community clinic settings.
Sonographers work closely with patient booking staff and radiologists to ensure that the needs of our referrers and patients are met with great care and professionalism. They use state-of-the-art-equipment and are supported by clinical staff, site managers and colleagues.
Sonographers participate in a comprehensive professional development program which includes an in-house education program featuring guest speakers, vendor presentations and case studies. Sonographers are supported to upskill for further progression and career development.
Sonographers also help with the development of trainee sonographers and work collegiately with other sonographers.
Sonographers may work from one or more of our 10 sites across the ACT and surrounding NSW.
Sonographers must have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
Recognised qualification in Medical Sonography.
Accreditation with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
Full work rights in Australia with no restrictions.
Please note that this is not a trainee position.
Please note that while these positions are full-time, CIG will consider part-time work arrangements (e.g. aligned with school hours if preferred).
For appropriately skilled and experienced Sonographers, we will do our best to match or better your current pay rate.
