About the role

ABELLA AGENCY is recruiting an Emergency Medical Technician to join our North Region team on a full-time basis. This is a critical role within our ambulance and emergency medical services division, where you will be at the forefront of emergency response, providing life-saving medical care to patients in their moment of greatest need. As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will be instrumental in our mission to deliver rapid, professional, and compassionate emergency medical services to the communities we serve. Your ability to assess, stabilise and transport patients whilst working under pressure will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute significantly to the effectiveness of our emergency response operations.

Key responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls promptly and professionally, arriving at scenes with appropriate medical equipment and resources

Assess patient conditions accurately, gathering relevant medical history and vital signs to inform treatment decisions

Administer emergency medical care and interventions according to current protocols, guidelines and your level of certification

Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities whilst providing continued monitoring and care during transit.

Working hours/days

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm / 9am - 6pm
