About the role

We are seeking multiple skilled and experienced Track Machine Supervisor's to join our team at our Maitland NSW facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our national operations.

As a Track Machine Supervisor's, you will be responsible for leading the Track machine teams nationally with precision and expertise.

You will ensure that all work meets our rigorous quality and production standards, This role is essential to our operational success and requires a dedicated professional who can work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced, every changing rail and customer environment.

You will have to be able to travel nationally and live away from home at or more than 50% of your work time, doing long days on an irregular roster that includes nights, weekends, public holidays etc.

Flexibility and being able to adopt with short notice changes is essential.

Ideally have licence to drive/operate cars, trucks and other off-track plant to support the movement and maintenance of machines nationally between works.

Key responsibilities

Leadership and Management of the team

Support the Track Machine Specialists in achieving desired output,

Day to day planning and supervision of the team to deliver operational works,

Complete pre/post work documentation on time,

Customer communication,

Provide Support to the Asset Management team.

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Track Machine Supervisor,

Strong understanding of Rail Track Machine equipment, machinery operation and maintenance principles,

Being able to travel nationally and live away from home at or more than 50% of your work time, doing long days on an irregular roster that includes nights, weekends, public holidays etc,

Ability to talk and work with customers and broader team at a mature level, being able to articulate the best approach for production and quality, genuinely listening and being responsive to their requirements,

Have a demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings,

Be a good leader with a drive to want to be a great leader, that develops the next generation of Rail professionals

Good Safeworking understanding or qualifications, being able to travel machines nationally across multiple networks with sound methods to achieve route knowledge and/or being able to protect yourself and your team for maintenance activities in various sidings and yards across multiple networks.
