About the role

Are you an experienced Multi Drop Delivery Driver looking for a new opportunity? North West Refrigerated Transport in Launceston, is seeking a Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join their team. This is a crucial role that will allow you to contribute to the company's success by ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers. This position is 4 days a week and requires Saturday work, once a fortnight. Hours range from 35-40 hrs per week and a MEDIUM RIGID LICENCE is a must.

What you'll be doing

Execute daily delivery routes to maximise efficiency and on-time performance

Picking and Packing of Dairy products

Comply with COR and cold chain distribution requirements

Safely operate a refrigerated delivery vehicle to transport goods to multiple drop-off locations

Professionally interact with customers and handle any delivery-related queries or concerns ( Customer first attitude )

Accurately document deliveries, pickups and any issues encountered

Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery vehicle

Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required

What we're looking for

Experience as a Multi Drop Delivery Driver in the courier, logistics or transport industry

Ability to work efficiently without supervision

Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record

Knowledge of local roads and the ability to plan efficient delivery routes

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with customers

Attention to detail and the ability to accurately document deliveries and any issues

Physical fitness to handle the loading and unloading of goods

Current Australian driver's licence and forklift licence (desirable)
