About the Position
The Program Manager is a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our projects team. This senior-level role is focused on implementing, maintaining, and improving project processes, reporting tools, and governance frameworks across projects. While this role does not involve direct project delivery, it ensures our project management systems support continuous improvement, compliance, and audit readiness.
About You
You will bring extensive experience in delivering strategic and capital construction projects, strong understanding of project management standards and workflows, and the ability to drive improvements in project governance and reporting. This role suits a senior professional who can Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives and support others through change.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, ideally in major capital works projects.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, contract management, WHS risk management and financial management (budgeting) principles practices and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical solutions to complex problems including the selection of appropriate methods and techniques, working under limited direction.
- Previous experience in a local government environment will be considered favourably.
