Job Overview
We are currently looking for a few Senior and mid-level Project Engineers (Mechanical) to join a project team delivering multiple gold process plant projects across Western Australia.
This is a FIFO 8:6 role, offering hands-on site exposure across construction, shutdowns, and commissioning activities, with long-term stability and a strong project pipeline within a well-regarded resources organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate mechanical engineering deliverables across multiple projects
Support project execution from design through to construction and commissioning
Liaise with internal engineering disciplines, drafters, vendors, and contractors
Review mechanical designs, drawings, technical documentation, and vendor data
Assist with procurement, technical bid evaluations, and supplier coordination
Support site activities during construction, shutdowns, and commissioning phases
Monitor schedules, costs, and progress against project milestones
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, safety, and quality requirements
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
3 years and above in a Project Engineer (Mechanical) role
Experience across processing plants experience (ex: gold, copper or nickel)
Background in mining or heavy industrial projects
Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work across multiple projects concurrently
