About the role

Ocean Edge Plumbing and Gas Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber specialising in Modular Construction to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the dynamic modular construction sector in Perth, WA. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality plumbing solutions for commercial modular projects, contributing to the growing demand for efficient, off-site construction methods. This role offers the chance to expand your expertise in a specialist area whilst working with innovative construction practices.

Key responsibilities

Install plumbing systems in modular construction units, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications specific to modular construction requirements

Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to coordinate plumbing installations within tight modular construction timelines

Conduct quality inspections and pressure testing on completed plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality

Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, minimising project delays

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

Adhere to all health and safety protocols on construction sites

Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met to specification

What we're looking for

Relevant plumbing qualifications and current licensing as required in Western Australia

Proven experience working as a commercial plumber, with a preference for modular or off-site construction experience

Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations and industry best practices

Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications

Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Reliable, professional attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship

Current White Card or willingness to obtain one

Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to site locations
