Superscoop is a well-established, medium-sized transport and logistics company based in Welshpool, Western Australia. We specialise in container transport, servicing the Fremantle Port and the greater Perth metropolitan area. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an organised and motivated Fleet Controller to join our Operations team.
About the Role
This is a busy and rewarding role where no two days are the same. As a Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily movements of our fleet, ensuring maximum efficiency while providing outstanding service to our customers.
Working closely with drivers, customers and the Operations team, you will schedule container deliveries and collections, monitor vessel operations and quickly resolve any issues that arise throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate daily container deliveries and collections.
Allocate work to drivers to maximise fleet utilisation and efficiency.
Monitor vessel arrivals and departures and plan transport requirements accordingly.
Liaise with customers, drivers, wharf operators and other stakeholders.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions in a timely manner.
Monitor fleet movements to ensure on-time service delivery.
Assist in maintaining compliance with transport regulations and company procedures.
Work collaboratively with the Operations team to continuously improve efficiency and service standards.
About You
The successful applicant will possess:
Previous experience in fleet control, transport scheduling or logistics is desirable.
Experience within the container transport industry or knowledge of Fremantle Port operations is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to think ahead, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Confidence working within a fast-paced team environment.
Good computer skills and the ability to learn transport management systems.
