Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Safety Supervision
- Coordinate and manage WSH Coordinators, Safety Supervisors, Scaffold Supervisors, Lifting Supervisors, WAH Supervisors and related safety workers across multiple projects.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with MOM regulations, ISO 45001, bizSAFE, client requirements and internal procedures.
- Monitor high-risk activities, including lifting, scaffolding and work at height.
- Possess the confidence and authority to stop unsafe work and escalate serious non-compliance.
2. Safety Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare, review and maintain RA, SWP, Method Statements, PTW, lifting plans and other WSH records.
- Coordinate timely document submissions to clients, consultants and main contractors.
- Maintain an organised electronic filing and document-control system.
3. Accident & Incident Management
- Conduct or support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
- Prepare investigation reports, root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor action closure and prepare safety alerts and lessons learnt.
4. Safety Audits & Project Support
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and internal audits.
- Monitor compliance with legal, company and client safety requirements.
- Support project teams in resolving safety issues and implementing WSH initiatives.
5. Training & Safety Programmes
- Coordinate safety inductions, toolbox meetings, mandatory training, WSH Committee meetings, emergency drills and safety campaigns.
- Maintain competency records and monitor certificate validity.
- Identify suitable employees for development into WSH roles and coordinate their training.
6. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare monthly WSH reports, statistics, KPIs, AFR, ASR and management reports.
- Analyse safety trends and recommend improvement actions.
- Participate in ISO, bizSAFE, client and internal audits.
7. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, project teams, warehouse, factory and building office facilities on WSH matters.
- Support the Safety Manager in daily coordination and continuous improvement.
- Perform other WSH-related duties assigned by the Safety Manager.
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant recognised WSH qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of Singapore construction WSH experience.
- Experience managing safety personnel and supporting multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and high-risk construction activities.
- Hands-on experience in lifting, scaffolding, WAH, incident investigation and audits.
- Strong leadership, documentation and communication skills.
- Registered WSH Officer would be an advantage.
