12 month term contract – 76 hours per fortnight

Wentworth Shire Council is seeking a suitable and motivated individual for the position of Landfill Attendant. As a member of the team, you will be required to attend weighbridge/gate duties at Council’s waste management facilities (located at Buronga, Wentworth, Dareton and Pomona). Primarily your duties will include (but not limited to) inspecting loads, operating weighbridge software, operate heavy plant and equipment and provide a high level of customer service. Experience in operating heavy plant and equipment is advantageous.

The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three month probation period and has a commencement salary of $65,979.47 plus 12% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment along with a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
