This is not an administration or traditional Operations Manager role.

It's a leadership position for someone who can take command, remove bottlenecks and keep every client, department and deal moving to completion.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead the operational side of the business from client engagement through to settlement, construction completion, tenancy and long-term client success.

You'll coordinate internal teams including Finance, Client Success, Construction, Settlements and Acquisitions, together with finance brokers, lawyers, developers, builders, property managers and external suppliers.

The purpose is simple: Keep everything moving. Keep the client's experience exceptional.

National Investment Advisory | Australia

National Investment Advisory (NIA) is one of Australia's leading residential property wealth advisory firms. We help high-income Australians build long-term wealth through carefully planned residential property portfolios.

As we continue to scale nationally, we're looking for an exceptional operational leader to become the CEO's right hand and take ownership of our entire client delivery engine.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the entire Delivery Division.

Own and coordinate the complete client journey through to tenancy.

Manage multiple active deals, deadlines, team members and stakeholders.

Identify and remove operational bottlenecks before they become problems.

Drive speed, accountability and consistency.

Improve systems, automation and operational processes.

Produce accurate operational reporting and forecasting.

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing operational team.

Protect the premium NIA client experience.

Who We're Looking For

You may come from:

Residential property development or investment

Property advisory / buyers advocacy

Mortgage, finance or wealth advisory

Financial planning or private banking

Legal settlements / conveyancing

Construction or project delivery

High-end client services

High-volume hospitality or similar complex operations

Experience

Years of professional experience, including successful property and/or management experience.

Experience leading operational teams.

Managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Managing high-value clients.

Improving systems and processes.

Managing deadlines where delays have commercial consequences.

Operational reporting and forecasting.

CRM experience — Pipedrive highly regarded.

Property investment, finance or mortgage knowledge highly regarded.

A genuine passion for property and ideally your own property investment experience or portfolio.

You:

You're commercially minded, highly organised and naturally accountable. Think several steps ahead.

Spot problems before they happen. Are calm and confident under pressure.

Communicate clearly and assertively. Are obsessed with follow-up and hate dropped balls.

Make decisions and take ownership. Solve problems rather than blame systems.

Enjoy creating order from complexity. Hold people accountable while earning their respect.

Use reporting and data to improve performance. Genuinely enjoy helping people succeed.

Ultimately, you become the person that ensures nothing gets dropped and everything keeps moving.

Why Join NIA?

Work directly with the CEO and become one of the key leaders in a growing national business.

You'll have genuine influence over how the company operates, with significant long-term career growth and leadership opportunities.

A great deal of work has been done to structure the org chart, the entire team’s roles & responsibilities, policies & procedures and you will have input in fine tuning these and implementing them throughout the entire team.

This role is hybrid, 3 days remote, two days per week in the Melbourne office. If you feel you are an exceptional fit, we will accept interstate applicants.

$120K - $140K. Plus bonus. OTE circa $200K+. Plus company phone and laptop.

How to Apply

A cover letter is required with your application.

Please outline:

Your relevant operational and leadership experience.

The types of businesses, teams or complex operations you've managed.

Your experience with property, finance or related industries.

Why you believe you are a great fit for this role and for National Investment Advisory.
