About the role

Permanent part-time opportunity to lead change management processes through collaborative development and review of education standards, work practices, policies and protocols that enhance service delivery and support the continuum of care for people experiencing domestic and family violence.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Utilise professional judgement and evidence-based practice to apply knowledge and skills that facilitate novel, and/or critical decisions in complex case consultation.
  • Work collaboratively with and provide high-level clinical advice and training to social work practitioners, professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other internal and external stakeholders regarding complex professional standards, clinical cases, legislation, clinical service development and formal research contributions.
  • Lead service data collection, service reporting and Metro North Health wide correspondence, practice-based research, quality improvement and community engagement activities related to DFV that result in enhanced outcomes for patients and the wider community.
  • Provide clinical practice supervision, education, and support to HP3 level health practitioners, less experienced staff, and students and ensure the maintenance of clinical standards.
