Our client is a highly regarded residential builder with a long-standing presence in the South East Queensland market. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and defect rectification works across their completed townhomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a residential construction background who enjoys working autonomously, coordinating trades, and ensuring homeowners receive an exceptional post-handover experience.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing maintenance works from initial inspection through to completion, ensuring all defects are rectified efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect all maintenance and defect items across townhouses
• Prepare inspection reports and identify rectification requirements
• Coordinate trades and undertake maintenance works where appropriate
• Liaise with homeowners and subcontractors throughout the maintenance process
• Schedule and manage maintenance works to ensure timely completion
• Ensure all rectification works are completed to a high standard
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed works
• Conduct final inspections to ensure all works have been completed satisfactorily

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Site Supervisor within residential construction, along with a strong understanding of residential building methods and defect rectification. You'll be an excellent communicator with a customer-focused approach, capable of coordinating multiple trades and managing competing priorities. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a current driver's licence are essential.
