LPC Trading Pty Ltd operates commercial egg production, feedmill and transport operations and is seeking an organised, proactive and motivated Work Health & Safety (WHS) Officer to support and continually improve our Work Health and Safety systems across our diverse operations.

About the Role
The Work Health & Safety (WHS) Officer will provide administrative and operational support across all aspects of Work Health and Safety, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements while assisting to maintain a safe and healthy workplace across the business.
This position involves regular travel between our operational sites throughout the Young and Temora region.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support for WHS processes, reporting and documentation
Coordinate employee safety inductions, training and toolbox talks
Maintain WHS records, registers and compliance documentation
Assist with workplace inspections, audits and corrective actions
Coordinate incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions
Support Return to Work administration and Workers Compensation processes
Assist with reviewing and maintaining WHS policies, procedures and risk assessments
Monitor training records, licences, first aid, PPE and hazardous substances registers
Promote a positive safety culture across all areas of the business
Build positive working relationships with managers and employees across multiple sites
Essential Skills & Experience
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or higher
Previous experience in a WHS, compliance or safety administration role
Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and risk management principles
Knowledge of Return to Work and Workers Compensation processes will be highly regarded
Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Current unrestricted driver's licence
Desirable
Experience within agriculture, poultry or food production industries
Experience maintaining WHS Management Systems
Experience conducting workplace inspections and internal audits
Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Food Safety systems
