Client Success & Social Media Manager
Bluu Media House
Posted 6 days ago
Are you the person who keeps things from falling apart when everyone else is moving fast?
If so, keep reading. This might be the one.
At Bluu Media House, we make premium short-form video for construction, trades and property businesses across South East Queensland and beyond. Our sales team brings the clients in. Your job is to keep them.
Everything a robot can do here is already automated. This role is everything it can't: the human relationships. You are the bridge between us and the client, and that bridge is the whole business.
What we value:
✅ Own it. If it's yours, it gets done. No chasing.
✅ People first. Systems and AI handle the repetitive work so you can focus on the human relationships that keep clients.
✅ A players only. We're a young, hungry team and everyone pulls their weight.
The Role
You join the team that keeps our clients, learning under our current Client Success Manager before quickly taking on your own clients. You won't be starting from scratch. You'll assist, learn how we work, and grow into owning the relationships and the production behind them.
You'll be the main point of contact for 10-20 clients. You own the relationship and the work that keeps them happy: strategy, shoots, editing, content going out, and making sure nothing slips. When a client renews or refers us, that's on you.
This is not a regular social media job, but a relationship one. Most of the production is automated or handled by the team. What can't be automated is trust, taste and judgement. That's you.
Your main KPI is simple: client retention. Keep them happy, get them results, keep them longer.
What you'll own:
Client relationships. Main contact for 10-20 clients. Check-ins, expectations, catching problems before they happen, renewals. Retention is the number you're measured on.
Production. Own the workflow from strategy to delivery. Schedule shoots, brief the crew, direct on set, keep every pipeline moving.
The shooters. Coordinate videographers and on-location crew. Own the shoot calendar and the briefs.
The editing team. Direct remote editors, hold them to each client's standard, manage turnaround and quality.
Content Strategy. From finding ideas, planning, scheduling to understanding analytics
Results. Make sure content goes out, looks right, and performs for the client.
Systems. Run the day-to-day tools (Monday.com, Frame.io, Slack). Find what's slow and fix it.
This role involves a lot of driving. You'll be out at client sites across South East Queensland, often 10+ times a month. A current driver's licence and your own car are mandatory.
What actually matters:
You're brilliant with people. Outgoing, warm, and you build trust fast. This is the whole job.
You understand social media. Not just how to use it, but how to make it work for a business.
Extremely organised. This is non-negotiable. You build systems and nothing slips through.
Hungry to learn. You want to grow in a fast-changing environment and you get excited by new things, not thrown by them.
Willing to use AI in your work. Actively, not reluctantly.
Current driver's licence and your own car. You'll be at client sites across South East Queensland, often 10+ times a month.
Nice to have, but we'll happily train the right person:
Client-facing experience where you owned the relationship and the outcome (any industry)
Social media management or strategy, ideally in an agency or client-facing setting
Project or production coordination across multiple jobs
Agency, video, or marketing background
An eye for what good short-form content looks like
Who this role is for:
You're an A player and ready to prove it among high performers.
You solve problems on your own. No hand-holding.
You take ownership before things land on someone else's desk.
You're great with people, clients and team alike, especially when it's hard.
You're calm when it's busy. Busy is the normal state here.
You'd rather use AI and new tools than pretend they don't exist.
You want real feedback that makes you better, even when it's blunt.
Why Bluu Media House:
A high-growth agency where this role genuinely drives the business
A young team of hungry people
Premium work for serious brands
Gold Coast office, minutes from the beach at Bilinga
Real ownership and room to grow as we scale
How to apply:
Tell us why you're a great fit. Tell us about a time you turned a difficult client relationship around. Send your CV and a short cover letter.
