Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Leader to join our Power Services Asset Information team within the Asset Management function.

In this key leadership role, you will support both strategic and operational business objectives by leading a high-performing team responsible for maximising the capability of our information systems and digital platforms. You will drive the collection, analysis, visualisation and sharing of power asset information to support informed asset management decisions and effective risk management across power networks serving urban, rural and remote communities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team responsible for asset information management, analytics and system support.

Drive the effective use of asset information systems to enhance asset performance, reliability and risk-based decision-making.

Support the delivery of accurate, timely and meaningful asset data and insights to asset managers and key stakeholders.

Oversee business process analysis, optimisation and continuous improvement within asset management information workflows.

Champion innovation through the application of data analytics, visualisation tools and emerging technologies.

Foster strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and service outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related Science or Engineering discipline.

Demonstrated technical expertise in the management of asset information systems within asset-intensive organisations.

Proven experience applying asset data and analytics to support decision-making in utility transmission and distribution networks.

Strong leadership experience managing, mentoring and developing cross-disciplinary technical teams, particularly within utility, asset management and geospatial information system environments.

Experience in business process management, including workflow analysis, optimisation and system support.

Expertise in translating complex asset information into actionable insights through analytics and visualisation tools.

A strong awareness of emerging trends in asset data and information management.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

A track record of driving change, innovation and continuous improvement.
