About the role – Multiple Casual Positions Available!
Join BaptistCare as a Group Facilitator and use the power of the outdoors to help people grow, connect and thrive. You'll lead adventure-based activities across camps, expeditions and day programs, creating safe, engaging experiences while supporting participants to build confidence, resilience and meaningful connections.
Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Facilitate adventure-based activities, camps, expeditions and day programs.
Supervise participants and maintain a safe, engaging environment.
Lead group activities that build confidence, resilience and connection.
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality outdoor programs.
About you:
You're an enthusiastic and adaptable outdoor professional who enjoys working with people and creating meaningful experiences. You thrive in a team environment, communicate confidently with a wide range of participants, and are passionate about helping others build confidence, resilience and connection through adventure-based programs.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation (or working towards), equivalent industry experience, or a relevant Youth Work qualification.
Experience facilitating outdoor adventure activities, camps or group programs, with relevant outdoor recreation qualifications.
Strong communication and group facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse participants.
Sound risk management, problem-solving and adaptability skills to ensure safe and successful program delivery.
