Supporting end-to-end Board processes, including agendas, papers, minutes and actions
Maintaining Board calendars, governance records and document management systems
Maintaining DEAL’s enterprise risk register, compliance calendar and policy review program
Coordinating annual financial audits and other assurance activities
Overseeing procurement controls and compliance with budgets, policies and delegated authorities
Maintaining effective financial systems, controls, reporting templates and workflows
Providing commercial and financial advice across DEAL’s projects and programs
Supporting managers to understand and meet their financial, governance and compliance responsibilities
Providing day-to-day leadership and support to the Administration Officer
This is a broad, hands-on position. You will be equally comfortable interpreting financial information for the Board, working with external accountants and auditors, improving internal systems and helping colleagues solve practical operational issues.
About You
You are a capable and highly accountable finance professional who understands that strong corporate services are fundamental to organisational performance.
You communicate clearly, exercise sound judgement and can translate financial and governance requirements into practical advice. You are comfortable working independently, managing competing deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Experience preparing management accounts, financial analysis and organisational performance reports
