About the Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer to create, develop, and maintain fullstack features across our AI SaaS platforms. You'll work closely with the engineering team to ship product in line with the company's vision. You'll be moving fast, owning outcomes, and growing with the business. This is an opportunity for the right engineer to take ownership and lead development of an upcoming platform within our product suite..

Australian work rights are required for this position and candidates MUST be based in Melbourne, Victoria to be considered for this position.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in the required or related role.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain fullstack features across our SaaS platforms

Develop and deploy serverless backend services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related infrastructure

Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using React.js and Tailwind CSS

Model and maintain relational databases in PostgreSQL (via RDS and Supabase)

Integrate AI capabilities using AWS Bedrock and Claude Code to accelerate development and deliver intelligent product features

Manage containerised services with ECR and ECS

Store and manage assets and documents using S3

Comfortable using GitHub, making, review and creating PR

Take ownership of features end-to-end, development to production

Skills & Experience

Essential:

2+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong proficiency in Node.js and React.js with Tailwind CSS

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, queries, migrations)

Working experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, ECR, and ECS

Familiarity with Supabase (auth, JWT, real-time, database, or storage)

Experience with or willingness to adopt AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, AWS Bedrock and AI Solutioning)

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of deliverables

Desirable:

Experience or exposure to financial services, mortgage broking, fintech, or compliance environments.

A basic understanding of AWS is desired

Understanding of API-driven platforms, automation tools, or document processing technologies.

Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering (majoring in AI), IT, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code
