The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead our Perth (Kewdale) operation.

This is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, developing a high-performing team, and delivering strong commercial results. You'll oversee all aspects of branch performance, including customer experience, sales, fleet utilisation, financial performance, team leadership, and compliance.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions, implement improvements, and shape the success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

As Branch Manager, you will:

Lead, coach, and develop your Assistant Branch Manager and branch team to achieve outstanding results

Drive branch performance across sales, customer satisfaction, utilisation, and operational KPIs

Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Implement sales initiatives and ensure exceptional service delivery at every customer touchpoint

Develop and execute branch business plans, forecasts, and revenue strategies

Manage branch budgets, reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls

Monitor productivity and performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability

Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively

Oversee fleet management activities, ensuring vehicles are customer-ready, well-maintained, and optimally utilised

Work collaboratively with leaders across the national network to share best practice and drive operational excellence

Leadership & Strategic Focus

In this role, you will also:

Participate in regular leadership meetings and business planning sessions

Attend management training programs and our annual leadership conference

Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and relevant legislation

Identify local market opportunities and initiatives to support branch growth

Contribute to broader business objectives and operational improvement projects

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

Leadership experience within the car rental industry or a similar high-volume operational environment

Proven success leading, coaching, and developing teams

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics

A track record of achieving operational and financial targets

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills

Strong analytical and reporting capability

A customer-focused mindset and commitment to service excellence

The ability to build strong relationships with both customers and team members

A current unrestricted driver's licence

Flexibility to support operational requirements when needed
