Our client is entering an exciting phase of growth and is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support a strong pipeline of new partnerships and workplace wellbeing initiatives.

This is a senior opportunity that goes well beyond traditional case management. You will take ownership of complex physical and psychosocial rehabilitation cases, provide early intervention support, deliver one-to-one mental health coaching, and contribute to onsite wellbeing and prevention programs across Toowoomba and surrounding regions.

About the Role
As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will manage a varied caseload across workers’ compensation, state government, DVA and CTP, supporting clients through safe, sustainable and meaningful return-to-work outcomes.
You will use your Occupational Therapy background to assess function, capacity, barriers to recovery, workplace needs and psychosocial risk factors, while working closely with employers, insurers, treatment providers and injured workers.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing complex physical and psychosocial return-to-work cases
• Delivering early intervention and workplace rehabilitation services
• Providing one-to-one mental health support, coaching and goal-focused intervention
• Completing functional, vocational and workplace assessments
• Developing clear, evidence-based reports and practical RTW recommendations
• Supporting onsite mental health programs, critical incident responses and wellbeing initiatives
• Facilitating workshops and training for workers, leaders and workplace teams
• Assisting with workplace interviews, team interventions and communication strategies
• Building strong relationships with employers, insurers and treating health professionals
• Supporting prevention projects, pilot programs and workplace wellbeing initiatives
• Contributing to quality improvement and best-practice service delivery

About You
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• A car and drivers licence
• Willingness to travel regionally as part of the role
