Jim Barry Wines is a family owned winery situated in the Clare Valley, focused on producing award winning estate grown Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet and Malbec.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Winemaker who is driven to be involved in producing iconic wines.
The successful applicant will work in cooperation with Jim Barry's Winemakers to produce our wide range of premium Regional Wines.
As a member of a small team the position will be hands-on and will involve shift work and management of staff during vintage.

All candidates will require the following
• completed or about to complete tertiary qualification in Wine Science or equivalent experience
• must have Australian citizenship/residency or valid existing Australian work visa
• valid car license
• be prepared to live in Clare
• completed at least three vintage's

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and demonstrate a sense of humour. Above all passion and a willingness to go the extra yard to produce great wines.
