Salary from $160,000 - $180,000 + Super + additional benefits

This building contractor is a growing presence in the tier 3 industrial, civils and commercial construction space and come with an outstanding reputation. They have a focus on delivering high-quality projects with a focus on safety, collaboration, and achieving quality results for their clients. Due to continued success and newly secured projects, they are seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. Initially you will head up a team delivering a $15M warehouse project located in Brisbane’s Southern suburbs.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of construction methodology. It is anticipated you will come from either a site management or contract administration background with a solid yet developing project management skill set and has experience across heavy structures building projects in civil, industrial, and commercial construction.

In the role of project manager, you initially you will help with the design stages and then direct & supervise a wide cross section of sub-contractors while being proficient programming and budgeting. You’ll be able to lead a skilled team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication throughout the project. Monitoring project performance will be key, ensuring quality standards are met and identifying opportunities for improvement..

Suitable candidates will possess the follwoing:

Have been a either CA / Site Manger or project Engineer with a building contractor and looking to move into a Project Manager role or have some experience as a PM in this space, but seeking a new challenge.

Have strong building a structures project background – concrete, structural steel etc

Experience of managing industrial / warehouse projects is highly desirable

Will have worked on civil, industrial, and commercial construction projects from $5M - $20M

An understanding design and construction processes from start to finish.

Will be familiar with industry software such as MS Projects, Procore etc

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
