About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team at Bespoke Payroll. This part-time or casual role will be responsible ongoing payroll processing for our existing client base.

What you'll be doing

Manage the on-boarding and implementation of new clients, ensuring a seamless transition to our payroll services

Processing payroll for our clients and providing an end-to-end serviced experience

Liaise with clients to understand their unique requirements and configure our systems accordingly

Troubleshoot and resolve any payroll-related issues that arise

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and provide detailed reporting

Staying up to date with changes to payroll legislation and regulations, updating our processes accordingly

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar payroll officer role

Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including taxation, superannuation and industrial relations

Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail

Proficient in using payroll software and accounting systems - ideally with experience using Employment Hero Payroll software

Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
