Our Enterprise client is in need of a Technical Lead to support a large program to modernise their network environment and progresses towards software-defined networking, cloud adoption and Zero Trust architecture. This is an opportunity to lead critical infrastructure initiatives while expanding your expertise across cyber security, automation, SD-WAN and Azure technologies.
About the role You will provide technical leadership across enterprise network services while supporting the delivery of next-generation networking capabilities.
Key responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and support of SD-WAN, network, data carriage and Wi-Fi solutions
• Design, harden and optimise network infrastructure to improve performance, resilience and security
• Collaborate with cyber security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen protections
• Develop automation scripts, technical documentation and infrastructure standards
• Mentor engineers and act as the escalation point for complex network and security issues

Must have

• Strong Cisco networking experience across LAN and WAN environments
• Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Centre and enterprise networking platforms
• Expertise in F5 technologies (LTM, GTM and BIG-IQ)
• Experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto firewalls
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and influence technical outcomes

Nice to have

• SD-WAN or Software Defined Networking experience
• Python or infrastructure automation skills
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience
• Exposure to Azure cloud services
• Knowledge of Infoblox, Statseeker, Cisco SDDC, VMware or Venafi
