Your opportunity

As our Functional Lead Procurement & Supply Systems within the Digital Division, you will be based at one of Energy Queensland’s major locations — Brisbane, Cairns, Mackay, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Toowoomba or Townsville. In this pivotal leadership role, you will help shape and optimise our Procurement & Supply technology landscape, contributing to operational excellence, digital transformation and Energy Queensland’s ongoing success.

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking SAP Leader to drive the strategic direction, optimisation and operational performance of Energy Queensland’s procurement and supply technology landscape. This role is responsible for leading the functional delivery and support of critical enterprise platforms, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and associated integrations.

This is a unique opportunity to influence how Procurement & Supply capabilities are delivered across the organisation, unlocking business value through digital transformation, process improvement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the Procurement & Supply Functional Systems team, fostering a high-performing culture while providing functional leadership across SAP and related platforms.
  • Owning the end-to-end functional delivery lifecycle for Procurement & Supply systems, including business analysis, testing, deployment, continuous improvement and support.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors to deliver innovative solutions that enhance procurement, inventory management, supplier management and contingent workforce functions.
  • Providing governance and operational leadership to ensure system reliability, compliance, security, audit readiness and business continuity.
  • Driving strategic initiatives that improve user experience, increase automation and support Energy Queensland’s broader digital transformation objectives.

The remuneration for your new role starts from $191,274 per annum + 14.75% superannuation for a 9-day fortnight.

What’s on offer?

At Energy Queensland, we believe in supporting every aspect of your career and personal life. Here’s what you can expect:
