Provide leadership and oversight of a large operational workforce delivering payroll and employment services to the NTPS.

The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provide essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government (NTG) under a centralised service model, enabling government agencies to focus on their core business.

Situated within DCDD, the Corporate and Employment Services team delivers Employment Services operations across the Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS), with accountability for service performance, operational efficiency, workforce capability, and continuous systems improvements.

As Director Employment Services Operations, you will provide strategic leadership to a large operational workforce delivering payroll and employment services across the NTPS. You will be responsible for providing authoritative operational advice on payroll-related matters, ensuring consistent, practical application of policies and processes across service delivery. A key focus of the role is the active management of service performance, aligning outcomes with business demand, government priorities and strategic objectives.

Drawing on your extensive experience leading large, high-volume operational teams, you will drive change and continuous improvement initiatives. Your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, influence at senior levels, and engage effectively across government will be critical to your success in the role.
