The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a growing aged care provider and take ownership of sourcing, category management, supplier performance and commercial negotiations across a diverse multi-site operation.

This is a high-impact role where you'll play a key part in driving procurement excellence, influencing key stakeholders and delivering sustainable improvements across cost, quality and service outcomes. If you're passionate about strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships and achieving meaningful commercial results, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

The Opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead procurement initiatives across a broad range of operational and corporate categories, ensuring the organisation achieves value-driven and commercially sound procurement outcomes.

This is a hands-on role that will see you partnering closely with stakeholders, managing supplier relationships and leading sourcing activities from strategy through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management plans across multiple spend categories
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, RFPs, tenders and contract negotiations
  • Analyse spend data, market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships whilst driving performance and accountability
  • Negotiate commercial agreements that deliver value and minimise risk
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement frameworks, policies and best practice initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for supplier rationalisation and contract consolidation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver procurement solutions
  • Monitor contract compliance and supplier performance outcomes
  • Provide reporting, analysis and commercial insights to support business decision-making

What's in It for You?

  • Join a growing and purpose-driven organisation
  • Broad exposure across multiple procurement categories
  • Opportunity to influence procurement strategy and business outcomes
  • Highly visible role with genuine organisational impact
  • Supportive and collaborative leadership team
  • Stable organisation with exciting growth plans
  • Competitive remuneration package
  • Opportunity to lead continuous improvement initiatives and leave your mark

About You
You are a proactive and commercially driven procurement professional with a strong background in sourcing, supplier management and category strategy.

You have the ability to balance stakeholder expectations with commercial outcomes and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can influence decisions, solve problems and deliver measurable value.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 3+ years' experience in Aged Care Procurement - (this is essential)

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end sourcing and acquisition activities
  • Strong contract management and commercial negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading tender processes from market engagement through to contract award
  • Advanced analytical, reporting and spend analysis capabilities
  • Experience operating within a medium to large multi-site environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities
  • High attention to detail and commercial acumen
  • Strong systems capability, including advanced Excel skills

Highly Regarded Experience
We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong acquisition and strategic sourcing background, rather than those whose experience has primarily been focused on construction, capital projects or build procurement.

The ideal candidate will bring broad procurement experience across multiple categories and have a proven track record of delivering strategic sourcing outcomes within complex, multi-site environments, including:

  • Information Technology & Telecommunications
  • Food & Catering Services
  • Linen & Laundry Services
  • Facilities Management
  • Medical & Clinical Consumables
  • Maintenance, Equipment & Asset Services
