About the Role

The Program Reporting Manager establishes and operates whole-of-program reporting across the GIICA venues program. Reporting to the General Manager, Program Services, the role is responsible for the design, operation and continuous improvement of the program’s reporting architecture across time, budget, risk, change, benefits, obligations and stakeholder reporting.

Operating within a matrix project environment, the role acts as the synthesis and interpretive layer of the Program Management Office, translating multiple reporting outputs into program level intelligence to support decision-making. The Manager is responsible for the production of consolidated reporting to the Executive General Manager, CEO, Board, Minister, funding partners and external Games governance groups, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and tailored to audience needs.

The role provides the primary reporting coordination interface across delivery teams, funding partners and portfolio stakeholders reconciling inputs, managing reporting cycles and supporting cross-organisational alignment. The Manager operates in close alignment with the Program Standards function, receiving technical direction where reporting products rely on established frameworks, standards and compliance settings, while maintaining clear accountability for reporting production and coordination.

This is a 6-year maximum-term role.

About your Responsibilities

Establish and operate whole-of-program reporting across time, budget, risk, change, benefits, obligations and stakeholder updates.

Deliver consolidated reporting to executive and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and fitness for purpose.

Provide the synthesis and interpretive layer across delivery partner reporting, including interrogation, reconciliation and validation of inputs.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting products that support program visibility, decision-making and performance tracking.

Coordinate reporting inputs across delivery partners, funding partners and portfolio stakeholders, including responding to information requests and tracking cross-organisational commitments.

Manage the reporting cycle, including forward planning, coordination of inputs and quality assurance of outputs.

Maintain alignment with program frameworks and standards, working with the Program Standards function where reporting products rely on agreed methodologies, definitions and controls.

Support the General Manager, Program Services through preparation of reporting packs, insights and briefing materials to inform decision-making.

Identify systemic reporting issues, data quality gaps or emerging risks and escalate appropriately.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems and data quality across the program.

About You

Proven experience establishing and managing reporting within large-scale infrastructure or capital works programs.

Strong understanding of program and portfolio reporting across time, budget, risk, change, benefits, obligations and stakeholder reporting.

Demonstrated ability to interrogate delivery partner inputs and identify inconsistencies, risks or emerging issues.

Strong capability in synthesis and executive communication, translating complex information into clear, decision-ready outputs.

Experience developing dashboards, reporting products and performance metrics to support program delivery.

Experience working in a matrix project environment and coordinating across organisational boundaries.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with senior executives, boards and government stakeholders.

Ability to apply judgment in balancing reporting rigour with practicality and organisational maturity.

Tertiary qualifications in project management, business administration or a related discipline.

Experience in public sector or major infrastructure programs is advantageous.
