About the role

K.C. Chan & Co PAC' is seeking a talented Audit Assistant to join our team in the Cecil Street, Central Region. As an Audit Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our external audit engagements, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance. This is a full-time position, offering opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

Assisting in the planning and execution of external audits for a diverse range of clients

Performing detailed financial reviews, analytical procedures, and substantive testing to verify the accuracy and integrity of financial statements

Documenting audit findings and preparing clear, concise reports for clients

Collaborating with the audit team to address any issues or discrepancies identified during the audit process

Providing support in the preparation of audit workpapers and other relevant documentation

Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations

Experience in Group consolidation of accounts

What we're looking for

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Relevant experience in external auditing, preferably within a public accounting firm for Audit Seniors

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify key issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members

Proficiency in using audit software and data analysis tools

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity

Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
