At Marnong Estate, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your hospitality career within one of Victoria's most unique food, wine, and events destinations.

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Front of House team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensuring smooth daily operations across our dining and event venues. You will work closely with the Assistant Restaurant Manager, providing hands-on leadership, coaching team members, and driving service excellence every shift.

About the Role

This is a leadership position for someone who genuinely loves hospitality and understands that exceptional service is about creating memorable guest experiences.

You'll be responsible for:

Leading and supporting the Front of House team during service

Ensuring guests receive warm, professional and personalised service

Coordinating effectively between restaurant, kitchen and bar teams

Managing service flow, presentation standards and operational efficiency

Assisting with rostering, timesheets and daily team supervision

Supporting inventory management, stock control and monthly stocktakes

Handling guest feedback and resolving issues with professionalism

Training, coaching and developing team members

Upholding high standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance

Driving sales through upselling and strong product knowledge

What We're Looking For

We're searching for a hospitality leader who brings energy, professionalism and a genuine passion for service.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in a Restaurant Supervisor, Team Leader or similar hospitality leadership role

Strong food, wine and beverage knowledge

The ability to lead by example during busy service periods

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience coaching and motivating team members

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Confidence handling guest enquiries and resolving concerns

Sound understanding of POS systems and restaurant operations

Current RSA certification

Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Full Australian work rights a must
